'Dreaming'

In the silence of what the mind wants to think,
It is powerful.
Holds all emotion,
Sends the perfect feeling for the heart to reveal,
However, it is only a thought.

As the sound enters the quietness,
Between the raindrops against my window,
And the rhythm in my heart,
A song yearn to be sang.
When love becomes a revelation to the soul,
Pain is no longer an obstacle to overcome.

Like the conclusion of a game,
A solution found through the delusion.
Soon the confusion starts to unfold.

Sleepy eyes, wet pillow,
As the mind begins a journey in the land of dreams.
A place of desires well known as the best place to be.
The heart fears to awake.
Trapped physically, spiritually, emotionally and mentally.
At last, there is a colour to black and white.
The dark becomes so bright.
Making little things seem more than enough.

The thrills of being afraid can make reality difficult to swallow,
Causing simplicity to fade.
This is why we fear,
Spaces between the heart, mind, and soul.
The beauty of sleeping is the art of dreaming.
