Detention
On the board she wrote new work.
Foolish children laugh and joke.
As she turned her face around,
Children quiet she heard no sound.
As she turned back to face the board once more,
What was deep down, is now ashore...

As I stood staring at those words,
I began to think about the way
I felt before my heart broke.
I never knew what love meant.
I was afraid of not living up to what
love is supposed to be?
Losing your sanity over an emotion
that disturbs you so deeply can
bring you to enlighten, to exist in
this world.
One forgets we are not alone.
While we intertwine with each other,
love is you, love is me, and
love is us.
It was breaking what once was love or being in love, and it took a text message to end it. Is this how love dies? Is this how it feels? Here is a heartfelt poem about the hurt of disbanding love.

Foolish children laugh and joke.

As she turned back to face the board once more,
What was deep down, is now ashore...
I dare you to love.
I dare you to forever be with me in my heart even when we're falling.
I dare you never let go of my hand when the going gets too hard to understand.
We dare to let go of the pain and the constant fighting in this world we created for our love.
Love wins when you dare to...
You only need to listen once,
Because I won’t say it to you twice.
I won’t either stop or rewind.
Because I’m going to give it to you so nice,
I better make myself clear.
This is the only thing I fear.
Baby, I think we’ve been here before.
It’s so hard to ignore...
